All of our glasses are designed in-house at our Rome HQ, and all of our frames are handcrafted with great care from the highest quality materials, in specialist factories in Italy.
All of our glasses are made with high-quality lenses. We apply a protective anti-scratch layer to minimize the chance of scratches, as well as a 100% UV protection coating to protect your eyes from harmful UV light. All our glasses are manufactured in the Baraka Optics lab.
Our optical lenses and prescription sun lenses also feature a multilayer anti-reflection coating.
So, yeah, pretty good!

The Blue Light Filter everyone is currently talking about. Honestly it is quite important! If you spend long periods behind a computer screen or often use a tablet or mobile device in the evening (which I am sure you do, who doesn't these days?), then your eyes come into contact with UV blue light that is emitted from these screens (and other artificial light sources).
Long-time exposure to this blue light can be harmful to your health. Because of this, we offer a special coating that protects your eyes from this blue light.
The filter gives your lenses a slightly yellow or blue tint. If you want the most beautiful result then we advise staying away from transparent frames when buying glasses with a Blue Light Filter.
Services
If you feel great in them, then nothing else really matters. However, if you still need a little more assurance, there are a few basic rules which you can follow in order to find the perfect pair of glasses for you.
- Your pupils look through the middle of the lens.
- The lenses are not much wider than your face.
- We recommend you pick a frame that does not sit in front of your eyebrows, so you can still see all of your facial expressions.
- The glasses should not slide off your nose.
- When you smile, your cheeks shouldn't push the frame up.
Of course, if you’re still stuck, we’d love to help you pick something out. There are several ways to receive personal style advice – you can pop by the store and speak to our staff, or send us pics via Whatsapp or email and we’ll give you some tip-top advice as soon as we can.
Sometimes your glasses won’t fit perfectly when you’ve just received them. This can easily be solved by adjusting your frames. We can adjust your frames free of charge and without an appointment in all of our stores. Just walk in at any time and we’ll make sure you leave the store with a pair of perfectly fitting glasses.
The following issues can be solved by adjusting the temples of your frames:
- The glasses are too tight or too loose
- The flexible nose pads are too wide or too loose (in case of a metal frame)
- The frames are too tight at the side of your head
- The glasses sit a little crooked on your face while you wear them
If you do not live close to one of our stores then you can always go to a local optician to get your glasses adjusted. Most opticians will be happy to help you but sometimes they ask for a small fee.
Yes we do offer lens replacement services in all our stores. All you have to do is drop by your selected store to get your frames equipped with the new lenses.

Sh*t happens! But we are glad to offer you a helping hand. If you break or damage your purchased glasses or lenses within the 1st year of purchase, our Replacement Coverage discount program is available. The replacement coverage is 50% of the retail price paid at the time of purchase for the damaged goods towards the purchase of a new item.
Your damaged item must be returned with the proof of purchase to any of our stores within 12 months from the original date of purchase. Replacement pairs must be of equal or greater value than the original item. Discount may not be combined with any other discount or offer in the store. It does not apply to loss or theft. May be used once within a 1-year period following the original purchase date.
In Egypt opticians are not allowed by law to offer eye exams. You need to go to a doctor to do the eye check up and then bring the prescription and come to any of our stores.

Shipping takes from 2-4 business days depending on your order.

We have a 14 days hassle-free return or exchange policy for all our eyewear and a 30-day policy for our accessories.The reason for the tighter eyewear return or exchange policy is for hygienic reasons. Who wants to buy a pair of glasses that might have already been worn for a full month? If you aren’t totally satisfied with your purchase, we’ll get you set up with a full refund or an exchange within the allowed grace period as long as you have the receipt.
COVID-19
At times like these, when everything seems uncertain, it’s crucial that we look out for one another. Keeping our team and our customers safe, and doing our part to help stop COVID-19 from spreading, is naturally at the top of our agenda. Face masks inside our stores have become obligatory. All tried on products are disinfected after each customer visit. Customers are required to disinfect there hands upon entry of the store. Social distancing must be maintained all the time.
